The process of becoming Julia Thorne was one of the worst torture Sydney had to endure. The long intense brainwashing performed on Sydney caused several drastic changes in her life. Looking back at all of the torture scenes, this is the only one I can think of that is altogether physically, emotionally, and morally damaging to Sydney. While Oleg never succeeds in breaking her, the months of brainwashing and years of pretending to be someone else caused such overwhelming distress, it’s not difficult to understand why she had her memories removed.

I thought David Anders was English for the longest time. I was surprised to find out that he’s from Oregon! I’m no expert on English accents but his always sounded pretty solid to me (meaning he didn’t sway back and forth from his real accent to the English accent). Now I’m thrown off when I see David Anders in his other projects with his regular speaking voice.
